Very inspiring little collection of fabrics, very friendly couple own this shop. They also provide sewing classes and studio space. So if you want to quilt or sew a dress this is a great stop.

Urban Source
Craft shop extraordinaire. This small space offers double-sided tape (my favorite!), great liquid-ink pens that my dad got me hooked on, ribbons, papers, magnets, and a full section of recycle craft supplies (empty film industry canisters are my favorites).

Bolt Neighbourhood Fabric Boutique
This is where I first learned that folks were actually making cool fabric. It is a sweet shop. I found sock-monkey print fabric and other amazing prints. Sweet in size and selection: Well worth a trip to Portland!
