Going Back to Peter Rabbit

Flipping through old photos I found these images of a project that took me nearly a day to complete. It was truly a little labour of love for a close friend's first child. The love came both for the excitement for the new little one I was crafting this wee bunny for, as well as the memories it brought up of a little stuffed "Kitty" I had growing up. My mum had given my Kitty from her own collection of children's toys when I was only four or five. I loved that creature so much that I wore it out numerous times, requiring mum to remake the body and lovingly sew it overtop of the original.
